Masseria Calongo is located in Valle d’Itria, a beautiful part of Puglia, a region considered one of the most beautiful in Italy and unique for its coastline, microclimate, biodiversity and food and wine. Ours is a young short supply chain farm, where we grow our raw materials organically and process them according to the traditions handed down by our grandparents.
Through the memory of experience and teachings of the past, we take care of our raw materials, from sowing to packaging, to offer you a high-quality final product!
Our crops range from vegetables to cereals and legumes. But we also take care of our wonderful, sculptural centuries-old olive trees, fruit trees and almond trees.
We are committed to scrupulously supporting agricultural methods that fully respect nature and the land, from organic fertilisation to respect for the natural cycles of plants, to the processing of raw materials within 24 hours of harvesting.
We use traditional methods such as sun drying and only natural ingredients such as salt, sugar, lemon juice, vinegar and our own organic extra virgin olive oil for preservation.
All stages, from sowing to packaging, are strictly carried out by hand, with the care and love that characterises everything we do, to offer you our organic extra virgin olive oil and the best of our preserves, jams, marmalades, compotes, jellies and pasta.
We focus heavily on the quality of our products and for this reason we only use our own oil in our preserves and pickles, to bring the aromas and flavours of our beloved land to your table.
